Harvinder Singh Thiara

Harvinder qualified from The University of Sheffield in 2005 and became BJS Dental’s Principal Dentist in 2016.

Since qualifying, the West-Bridgford native has continued his education to remain at the forefront of the constantly evolving dental profession. Harvinder has completed a variety of courses on aesthetic dentistry alongside a year-long restorative course at the Academy of Clinical Excellence and both the core and advanced training at the Dawson Academy.

For those interested in transforming their smile, Harvinder is an Associate Member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and has developed a keen interest in invisible orthodontics. He is a certified practitioner in Inman Aligner, Clearstep and completed the Six Month Smile certification programme.

Harvinder has completed a Dental Sedation and Pain Management Postgraduate Certificate to ensure all patients are as comfortable and safe as possible during treatments. The programme focuses on developing theoretical and practical competencies in sedation and aligns with current UK and international guidelines.

Rajvir Kaur Mattu

Her career in dentistry began as a receptionist before progressing to practice manager. Rajvir, eager to acquire a full understanding of dental disease and inspired by the clinicians around her, qualified as a dental nurse and wanted to bring her caring nature to her role.

In 2015, Rajvir graduated as a Dental Hygienist Therapist earning a Graduate Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy. She maintains an effusive approach to her work and is particularly interested in preventative care for adults and children and the treatment of periodontal disease.

Rajvir spends her spare time teaching at her local community Gurdwara, cooking, reading and spending time with her three children.
